Louis Garneau designed its new Glaze 2 Jacket exactly for these occasions as it was made with a blend of breathable waterproof and wind-breaking fabrics. The Garneau Glaze 2 jacket has a front panel made from Light Wind Dry 3 fabric. This is a three-layer material that sandwiches a windproof membrane between two soft knit layers. In fact its also waterproof. This doesnt mean that the Glaze 2 jacket will keep you dry in a downpour. Rather it implies that youre able to grind away on your quest for base miles without fretting about spray from wet roads or an intermittent drizzle. With the front side protected from the wind the rest of your torso simply needs comfortable insulation. Garneau uses HeatMaxx fabric on the back panel the back of the arms and around the waist. Its brushed on the inside to provide insulation and a cozy feel. If you like a high collar youll love the Glaze 2 jacket. Its tall enough to provide real protection for your neck when fully-zipped and a zipper garage at the very top protects your neck from getting pinched or chafed. If you prefer a more airy feel the collar is easy enough to fold down. The zipper has a full-length draft flap to seal out the breeze. Garneau finished off the jacket with three rear pockets with the outer two being angled for easier access with gloved hands. Reflective elements give you 360 degrees of visibility in low-light conditions.
