The Mixino VD2.0 is accordingly designed to the exact specifications as the original highly-ventilated model. To begin with it is formed using In-Mold technology the inner and outer shell of the helmet are molded to become one piece not merely glued onto each other. This increases crash resistance and diffusion of energy should a crash occur. The helmet was designed with Low Nape Protection so that your occipitals are protected in the event of an accident. What sets the Mixino VD2.0 even further apart from its aerodynamic competitors is a combination of an ARC roll Cage and Graphene Nano-fibers. The roll cage is an internal structure made from Aramid fibers. In case these fibers sound vaguely familiar they have been used in the aerospace industry. They have been used in conjunction with Graphene fibers to keep weight to a minimum while maximizing protection. Catlike used replaceable Outlast pads on the interior for impressive comfort. These pads use NASA-developed Phase Change Materials PCM which actually store and release heat as needed to help regulate body temperature. Holding the Mixino VD2.0 tightly on your noggin is Catlikes eVo retention system.
