Striking the ideal balance between warmth and weight the Berghaus Mens Ramche Down 2.0 Jacket builds off its predecessors alpine expertise with a proven design and harsh weather approved materials. The 850-fill goose down is treated with a PFC-free Nikwax hydrophobic finish to repel moisture so it wont be game over at the first sign of wetness. The superlight 7-denier fabric is windproof breathable and stronger than the fabric used on the original Ramche. Berhaus employed a unique offset baffle construction to minimize cold spots and placed an aluminum mesh material within the core of the jacket to reflect body heat for increased warmth. Every baffle has been optimized to increase warmth through Berghaus body-mapped technology and the hood can be worn over a climbing helmet to ensure head-to-waist coverage. In addition to being highly technical the Ramche 2.0 utilizes Responsibly Down Standard RDS certified goose down that was sourced in the European Union and processed in the United States.
